Happy New Year!

Tuesday, January 01, 2019

Trust that you have had a great Christmas celebration and Year End countdown! 2018 indeed went by fast. Did it for you?

For me, I closed the year and crossed over into the new one with a Poinsettia. No other plants say Christmas more than a Poinsettia. It can just get you into the festive spirit right away.

Poinsettias come in several colours. Red one being most popular, there are white and pink ones as well. Which colour do you prefer?

Pinkish-white single-petaled Gloxinia made a come back. Although the leaves are not as succulent as usual, the blooms are as huge.

The second flower blossomed right after the first bloom above faded...

A little shoot of the Papaya tree sprouted from a seed that was sowed into this little pot. Patients is the key for this success, yippie!

Many other seeds sprouted shortly after.

Thank you for stopping by and have a blessed New Year!

I don't quite fancy poinsettias. But I do think your pinkish-white single-petaled Gloxinia most lovely.
Congrats on all the new sprouts. Indications of good things coming your way, I hope?
