Yes, the plant can take in lots of sun :) With regards to floppy leaves, hmm... I am not sure, under-watering? Btw, the picture in this post was snapped when the silver squill is in its healthy growing stage. Sometimes the leaves just dry up but would bounced back with healthy leaves. Hope this helps.
