I thought I was given a yellow Dwarf Poinciana but it turned out to be yellow and orange. Still, I am happy. I love the bright blooms and seeing how long lasting they can be. Aren't they marvellous?
Everytime I come home I can't stop looking at these blooms.
Next to the Dwarf Poinciana is my Arrowhead. This marginal aquatic plant has been flourishing really well in spite of the super hot weather and heavy rains this week.
The leaves can grow tall and big... look!! Anyone growing this plant in your garden? Love to know if the scientific name is indeed Sagittaria sagittifolia. This can be Sagittaria montevidensis also as it is right about three feet tall now. Also can be Sagittaria latifolia. Anyway, hope the plant will flower soon.
At one time, this Turqoise Crossandra was like half-dead. These blooms appeared last week after I repotted the plant a month ago.
This pink Four O'Clocks and another yellow one are flowering well and set seeds quite quickly. Love them a lot as they are the ones that add colours to the garden when the sky is dark.
This is a Weeping Barbados Cherry and it has been flowering. But I have yet to notice any fruit yet.
One evening while I was watering and feeding my plants, a passer-by asked me what plant is this. She told me she saw the white blooms from the road and noticed the plant has been flowering really well. I told her it is a trailing white Ros Kampung...
Notice the long flower stalk from the small agave? The flower buds have yet opened.
Bought this White Velvet plant together with two cacti. The flowers are as pretty and the same as other Tradescantia plants.
My yellow-flowered Episcia cupreata and a big red Gloxinia bloom. Don't they look wonderful together like this? Like BFFs LOL...
