While the gardener is passionate about growing a lush garden with healthy plants, there are still plenty to learn about plants and their needs especially when circumstances changed.
While the Money Plant (Epipremnum aureum) and Satin Pothos (Scindapsus pictus 'Argyraeus') were doing really well with their 'feet' in a pot of water, the rest of my plants that I have placed inside were 'stressed'.

My terrarium was not given enough attention when I just left this one near the window. The dry and hot spell we had a few weeks ago kind of burnt the plants. The fern inside the terrarium was 'cooked' hence discarded. I had also pruned the Bubble Plants and used the stems to propagate new plants...
Specially for those green at heart...

I used one of my Epipremnum aureum plants, commonly known as money plant to make this 2D heart-shaped topiary.
I wrote about this little gardening project in the New Straits Times (a local paper here) and the article was published in NST Life & Times on 20 April 2013.

Right before the rain, I managed to snap a pic of my bougainvillea for the record. The weather is so unpredictable nowadays my goodness, phew...
This week, or rather the past two weeks, I am so intrigued by my bougainvillea. The bracts never look this good for so long! I wish I can have them forever. No other plant in my garden is flourishing so many flowers at the moment. This precious plant, bougainvillaea is the star of the week :-D
In a tropical garden such as mine, though we have lots of sun we have plenty of rain as well. If the rain is heavy, this mass of bracts may not be so attractive any more as some of these bracts will drop off. See why I have to get to work (snap a shot) before the rain?

My little cherry time capsicum shrub has been flowering for a while now but only a few have fruited. The first one was growing steadily, grew slightly bigger by the days but the fruit eventually fell off while it was still green :-(
Right in front of the little capsicum shrub, some Amaranthus Perfect Red are maturing. These little plants took some time to gain in size and height. Wonder why? Have you grown this vegetable before?
Apple? Nope, it's a fruit from my Acerola bush. This one is big and very red...
Another fruit that is growing on the other side of the bush was nibbled by birds or something while ripening...
