Happy (belated) New Year! Hope you have enjoyed the holidays and now gearing up for another busy year ahead.

I enjoyed the cold spell we just had recently. It made me feel a lot like being overseas, in temperate countries. But the rain showers that came along, hmm... I am not so sure about that.

Before that cold spell, the flush of blooms from the false shamrock was simply stunning.



I thought the leaves were beautiful too and below is a snap of what the bottom side of the leaves look like.



My impatiens was flowering wonderfully as well. 



The iron cross begonia has suddenly begun producing many leaves. I am happy to see the plant finally taking off :D



Ferns are always close to my heart. I love their graceful fronds.



This one with finer foliage is of normal size. I have another type which is not-so-mini size.



It has been a long time since I last posted a picture of my silver squill. As I have snapped quite a nice of shot of it, I thought I better post it now, else I will forget about this plant again ;)



Earlier the leaves of my long bean vine wrinkled and there were lots of bugs on them, so I had to chop most of the foliage away. 



Small blooms can be really cute and sweet. These are flowers of my Barbados cherry...
