Bloom in Bunches

Monday, August 05, 2019

The moderate weather gave me some exciting time in the garden. I have been enjoying flowers blooming in full bunches. The older flowers were still on their stalks when the newer ones open, yippie!

Usually if the sun is scorching hot, the flowers of the Glow Vine will not hang on there for so long. Notice the ones in lighter purple? They are the flowers which had opened earlier, as opposed to those in brighter purple.

It is also fascinating to see a bunch of blooms appearing from my Frangipani. The number of blooms is more than the bunch which blossomed before.

Although hold up high above eye level, the striking blooms capture a great deal of attention.

Here is my Silver Squill at its best 'behaviour'. Sometimes the tips of leaves will dry up, looking brownish. Other times it will appear as a beauty not to be missed ;)

Have the greatest day!

    1. Hi Normala,

I am afraid you have to remove the parts that have been infested by the fungus.

  2. I like the Frangipani, even if they drop to the ground they look fresh and retain the shape.
