Blooms On The Street
Wednesday, April 08, 2009
Today I went out in the morning to a nearby shopping mall. As I was going into the mall area, I spotted a bed of red and orange Cannas at the roadside. The flowers were blooming beautifully.
I'm Stephanie - This blog is where I share about the plants I grow and my gardening projects.
I live in Malaysia, a land blessed with plenty of sunshine and rain, a tropical climate. The days are warm and humid with temperature averaging around 32˚C (90˚F) while the nights are fairly cool.

Hi mingmooi .... I am trying to figure out where exactly is this place ... ~ bangchik at blotanical
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful sidewalk and street plantings. I just love Bougainvilleas and wish I could grow them here but it would have to come in doors in the winter. The buildings are interesting also.
ReplyDeleteHi Bangchik, Thank you for dropping by. The building behind the topiaries is Cineleisure. The building infront of the Bougainvilleas is one part of The Curve. I am standing next to Ikano when taking these pictures.Have a good day!
ReplyDeleteHi Lona, The weather here is perfect for Bougainvilleas. They seems to like the heat very much :-)
It was great having lunch with you :) I love it when shopping malls do their landscaping well.. makes you want to go more often. Haha..
ReplyDeleteBeautiful blooms on your streets! We won't have canna blooms for a couple more months at least. Glad you had a nice day!
