Trellis

One day, after sending a friend home, I spotted a neighbouring house using trellises at its side wall.
The trellises are not only meeting the needs of the climbing plants but also provide vertical height to the narrow garden. Overall, it also makes the house look beautiful with greens surrounding it.

Last week when I was at Ikea I also saw a trellis (below) that I like.
This trellis not only support climbing plants, it can also hold its planter. Just make sure that you fasten it securely to the wall. I also like its simple pattern and natural finish. Both of these factors make this trellis easy to be incorporated into any garden theme as opposed to a curvy or coloured trellis.
Find a suitable trellis for your climbing plant, create vertical height and have fun beautifying your garden!

Yes, I love trellises too :) Can do so much with them! Don't know whether lizards will hide behind them though. Haha..
ReplyDeleteI like trellises and vertical gardens, too.
ReplyDeleteVertical gardening is so much fun, and it really adds another layer of interest to a boring wall or fence. :) That's a cool looking trellis!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great timing to be reading about this trellis sold in Ikea. I haven't been there for ages! My Rangoon Creeper would need a trellis real soon. Thanks, Stephy! :o)
