It's a Pilea Species!
Tuesday, August 10, 2010Earlier, I have published a post to identify the plant below.
The plant is most probably Pilea Depressa.
Common name: Miniature Peperomia, Shiny Creeping Charley, Giant Baby Tears
Many thanks Steven :-D

Yes, I remember this one you posted. I love it when you find out the names of things. It feels good!
ReplyDeleteGreat looking plant Steph! From the look of it, it must have been an easy plant to care for. And of course, I am sure it's such a joy finally you can it by its name. BTW, the Chinese blue vase really does a good job in bringing up the vibrant green color. Good showcasing!
ReplyDeleteAh, I used to have a Pereromia years ago. I wonder what became of it- probably lost it in one of my moves.
ReplyDelete"Oh thank goodness you have fond the name to that cute little plant, thanks to Steven: D)
ReplyDeleteI know it was a relief" This is one of the reasons I love blogging with our fellow blogger's because sometimes we can't find the info we are looking for on the net..
Steph...when one blogger finds out the name of a plant, it benefits several others:)Now, at least I can find out about similar-looking plants.
ReplyDeletePretty plant. And i agree with Rough Rosa's comment about the vase bringing out that green!
I second Kanak's comments. I don't know this Pilea depressa. It's nice as a hanging plant.
