Horse Face

Tuesday, March 03, 2009

Alocasia Polly is the Latin name of this plant. It is highly easy to maintain. Just do not overwater will do.

This plant came free! It sprouted from the soil one day. It must have come with the soil I bought from the nursery. Now, there is a new shoot growing out from one side.

I love the V-shaped glossy leave with scallop edges and light green veins. The shape of the plant looks like a horse face to many. As for me, the plant always looks strong and healthy due to its glossy dark green surface with the light green veins that looks like rib bones.

It is a versatile plant as well. It can be placed indoor as well as outdoor (but under shade).
